Clive Carroll

Clive Carroll wurde in eine Musikerfamilie hineingeboren, die sehr früh sein Talent erkannte und förderte. Nach seinem Musikstudium ergab sich die Gelegenheit für ein gemeinsames Konzert mit dem englischen Gitarrenvirtuosen John Renbourn, in dem er einen Freund und Mentor fand. Renbourn war von Clive Carroll's virtuosem Gitarrenspiel so begeistert, dass er ihn ermutigte, eine eigene CD zu produzieren. Sein erstes Album "Sixth Sense" wurde von der Presse als frische Brise in der Welt der akustischen Gitarre gelobt. Jahrelang war er mit John Renbourn und danach mit Tommy Emmanuel auf Tournee.

Er gehört zu den angesagten Virtuosen auf der akustischen Gitarre, der ein unglaublich weites Repertoire bietet - von Blues über Jazz, irischem Folk bis hin zur klassischen Musik. Eigene Kompositionen bilden das musikalische Sahnehäubchen.

Wenn die Musikpresse jemanden als "unfassbares akustischen Talent" oder als "Einzigartig" beschreibt und wenn Künstler wie Madonna diesen Musiker für ihre privaten Events buchen, dann weiß man, dass man von ihm Besonderes erwarten darf.
